There isn’t really any bands on the course, but some of the aid stations play music. But there is lots of music and activity at the finish line. I’m glad you are bringing your family.
Just registered for the Kona Marathon. This will be my first trip to Hawaii! See you in June.

No the Kona Marathon is not chip timed. You will recieve your timing card immediately after you finish the race, with all your information on it.
